Y'all...this couldn't wait for Saturday.

I was in tears laughing at this video!

And yes, as I am not afraid to admit that while I sat in my chair & watched this entire video, 

I tried to move my cheeks like that.

And guess what happened?

Not a damn thing! 

I don't know how she does it!

BTW, when I got to work Monday morning I was offered a promotion.

It's basically the same job but I'm moving from a specialist 3 to 4!

More money to save for hawaii & vegas! 

Weekend Recap

I'm doing a phone dump weekend recap since 

I fail miserably at taking my real camera with me!

Friday night hubby had the guys over. 

While I sat in the office editing pics, they decided to go to 

the grocery store to load up on snacks.

I was working on pics for my friend's baby who turned 6 months old.

Saturday my mom & I went shopping. 

While in Wal-mart I came across this.

At first I thought, WTH!

Then I remembered all of my experiences with bland food & thought this was a good idea.

 Although I would feel kind of weird whipping out my own seasoning at a restaurant!

Saturday night hubby & I had dinner at Bonefish Grill.

We typically don't go to seafood places because I don't eat ANY seafood. 

But it's new here, and hubby likes seafood, and I knew they'd have chicken or steak! 

Bonefish Grill was fabulous!

Great atmosphere, great waitress, & great food.

I even tried their bang bang shrimp.

It was my first time trying shrimp- and I am not a fan.

(Hubby says it was the bomb!)

My steak was good though! lol

Sunday was our friend's 30th Birthday.

We went to a bar & grill called the Suite.

They have a live dj, food, & drinks.

I got there before hubby & his friends so I ordered some cheesesticks.

When they get there they tell me they saw a rat in the same place 3 days prior.

EWWW!

So I wasn't thrilled about eating my cheesesticks at all.

The place was kind of dark so I tried to take a decent pic of the table decor.

And then just bc LWLH blogged about how much she hates putting laundry away I decided to post a pic of my horrible closet. I don't mind washing or drying clothes either, but putting them away is a pain in the ass! I leave them in the basket or dump them on my closet floor! 

Don't judge! I know this is terrible!

And in other great news...

I GET TO WORK FROM HOME!

YAY!

They told us Friday & I am SO happy!

I will be doing the same job but at least it will be from home.

They will be coming out within the next 2 weeks to get everything set up 

so I have to repaint & redecorate since I will be in this room 8 hours a day!

My friend's daughter is in a PROMathon & needs some votes!

And I am mean...she is in some serious need of some votes.

Candis is new to the school, was just told she'd be graduation in a few months, so they have not had much time to save for prom & graduation. Her mom, one of my best friends, was diagnosed with a rare cancer a few years ago so she hasn't been able to work. So money is tight!

Naked 2: Urban Decay

I've had some time to try all of all the colors in the Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay. 

I can honetly say I do love all the colors.

However, everytime I wear the color VERVE, by the end of my 8 hour work day,

it looks like my eye lids have been sweating!

I absolutely hate how it looks!

I don't wear an eye shawdow primer, and I never have.

But I guess I will have to.

A lot of people swear by the Primer Portion by Urban Decay so I might go that route.

Do you wear primer?

If so, which brand do you recommend?

I spent all of Monday night watching Pawn Stars.

So instead of boring you with my recap on the various pawns, I'm going to post some random pics of some friends & I over the last few years.

After looking at all these pics I've realized a few things:

I wear a lot of black.

I need a new hairstyle.

I need new makeup.
And that I have fabulous friends!

didn't have any on my harddrive @ the time of this post!!)

And in other news, we may not be going to NOLA for St Pattys. Boo!
We realized it would probably be best if we saved our money for Hawaii & Vegas.
It sucks being responsible sometimes...But it will be worth it in the end! ;)

I had a crazy weekend!

It started out normal, Friday hung at the house with hubby.

Saturday got a mani/pedi with a friend, when to a house warming party that night.

Sunday....

Went to the gym. 

That's when it went to hell.

To make a long story short, we joined the gym the last week of Jan. They told hubby the first payment wouldn't be due until March. We go in today & they said we owe $35 each because we didn't pay the $10 monthly fee by Feb 14th. An argument started & it ended with me "going off" on the employee (to put it nicely). It was not good.To sum it up- read allll the fine print. These gyms advertise $10 a month & no contract but it's BS.

After the gym I had a photoshoot which went well, but as I was leaving 

my goddaughter Ali called me.

She asked me if I could take her shopping because her sorry ass mom couldn't.

I told her I'd meet her at TJ Maxx & when she got there she looked like hell.

She had on men's basketball shorts, a tank top, and oversized run down men's coat, & flip flops.

Her mom has been promising to buy her money when she got her tax refund back & then apparently the Dept of Education seized her refund since she was in default on her student loans.

Ali had been living with her aunt for the last few years while her sorry ass mom was getting her life together. Right before Christmas, she got into an argument with her aunt & sent back to her mom.

With a book bag, one pair of jeans, the flip flops she had on, a few shirts.

That's it!

Do you think they bothered to send her clothes via mail?

Did anyone bother to take her shopping?

Did anyone realize this is her senior year and the last thing she wants to do is look like a total bum?

I am just so mad!

So I told her she had a $100 limit & to buy what she needed most.

She picked a pair of jeans, 4 tops, underwear, & a bra.

We couldn't find any shoes because she wears a 5 1/2 & she didn't like the selection.

Ali prefers converse, vans, etc. 

I stopped by my house & gave her 2 coats that I had.

They were from my smaller days so luckily they fit her.

And I gave her 3 pairs of pants to lounge in (yoga/gym pants)- again from my smaller days.

Oh & to make matters worse.

She told me she hasn't been home in a month.

She's living with her boyfriend (& his mom & sister). He is 21 & she is 17.

I asked did her mom meet his mom...NO.

Who is taking to you to school...my boyfriend's mom.

I asked her why is her cell phone cut off...mom didn't pay it.

Soooo...your mom is allowing you to live with your 21 year old boyfriend 

& she has no way to call you? Yes.

I told her she can come live with us.

But of course...she's not going to do that!

Me & her sorry ass mom haven't spoken in over 6 years because of her lifestyle choices and her bad parenting. And we've known each other since kindergarten!

This poor girl has just had the roughest life because of her.

I am just really angry, upset, & annoyed by the whole situation & don't know what to do.
