There are so many great quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
One that I like would be:
"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity."
I for one am thankful for the Civil Rights movement. I hate that it had to even happen but I am glad for those who stood up for what's right. It really makes me mad to see racism. Whether it's against black people, Muslims, Mexicans, etc.
We are all a human race, and that should be all that matters.
One day I hope to visit the National Civil Rights Museum.
I think it would be humbling to see.
